95 GTX Speedo Inoperative

Got a quick question. The speedo on my gtx is not working. I have checked electrical back to box and it seems to have good connections all the way back. Is there something I can check for specifically in the wiring? Or also maybe a commen problem with spedos not working that may need replaced.

Check on the venturi of the ski, on the lower portion, there is a little wheel that rotates when the ski is moving. This is the pickup speed sensor, check and make sure the little paddle wheel is there and if the wiring is connected. Sorry I can't be more specific, but I'm going from memory.

It is no problem, I undertand what you are saying. I have checked that and it looks like its working there. Im trying to check the resistance (assuming I should be able to spin the wheel andre results) but its hard being a one man show. Trying to keep a good conection with the multimeter and spin the wheel is a difficult task.

I have tested the connection at the first plug in the rear of the ski. I tried every combination but could not get any varied results hen the wheel was spun.
