Allright, I have removed the pump assembly and I have a few questions.

1. After pulling the pump off the hull I notice there was some black silicone type sealent used to seat the bailer tubes, I suppose that should be replaced when I reassemble?
See Picture 5

2. I notice on the venturi shaped part the goes aft of the pump there is only one white plastic tube where the bailer tubes connect, should there be two?
See Picture 9

3. Obviously the wear ring is toast and the impeller is pretty dinged up too I'll probably replace it with a better one, however how much end play (fore & aft) should the impeller shaft have? Seems mine has about 1/8 inch. Radial play seems good.
See picture 6 and 7

4. The oil inside the pump was very black and really stinks, but at least there was oil in there and not water.

5. I'm guessing I get all new seals and O rings etc before I put this all back together?

6. Are there higher performance impellers, cones, venturi, nozzels and such that may give the old ski a little boost?

Please let me know what y'all think about these things, Thanks
