Question to the pro's on here...
Looking at post #24, the 4th picture is the backside of the rotary valve cover, which shows scarring. It's partly dirty from sitting in a box and being covered with oil & dirt, so it looks a little worse than it is, but it's notably scratched.
Should I do any type of light sanding to that piece to dull the edges of those scratches or am I overthinking this? Is there a disadvantage to doing this?
