94 xp trim quit working

the trim stopped working on my 94 xp.. i know the trim motor is bad and really dont use trim much because its my wifes ski, is there anyway to manually move the trim back up on it so she can ride without nose-diving? its stuck almost all the way down now and i just need it moved up some.. really dont mind if i cant move it again, just want to get it up and leave it there. thanks for any help.

pull trim motor out, move nozzle where you want it and reinstall trim motor.
