Impellers...
I usually say, "ask the pros".....
There are many of us who could offer advice on which progressive pitch impeller to either get better bottom end or top end. I have two solas concords and really, to be honest, for the couple few hundred bucks I have in them, the tiny bit extra just doesn't justify the cost.
I used Impros to get mine. I felt wiht these guys doing this for a living, they'd know the best pitch for the hull and motor I use. You can also check out RIVA.

Just be sure in looking for an impeller, you talk to a live person. I recommended Impros because a couple years ago, when this guy (Mike) was starting out, he answered the phone personally. The first thing he'd ask is what you had. After you told him your ski, etc... He'd ask you what you wanted to do; top end speed, low end torque or a combination of both worlds. Then, as if he was pulling the pitch out of his head, he'd pop off the type impeller and degree. That's the kinda pro you need to answer your questions.
Remember, there are a lot of "greedy" salesman out there that will talk you into buying something so they can make some money. Do your homework, ask the right people. :cheers:
