First and foremost Happy Memorial Day to any Veterans on the board! I took my boat out this weekend and it runs great! I started it up, cruised around the lake for about a half hour and came to shore. Sat around for a solid 20 min, go to restart my boat and when I fire up the engines I get this crazy loud continuous beep, I proceed to accelerate and the beep goes away from idle to WOT. I park and shut it down and go to restart it and it does it again, basically at every start up after the initial. It is more embarrassing than anything. I have 2 streams of water coming out the back when cruising and can also put my hands on both engines while running it and so I know its not an overheat issue. Is this just a bad temp sensor? Low battery? I am stumped. The only thing the manual says is overheat and just for clogged jet pump but all clear. Any info is appreciated thanks!

Any of the trouble lights will trip the buzzer. So... were any of the lights on?? (batter, oil, etc)

Sounds like what happen to me last summer. I tried a few different things..I was confused the boat was working fine.. Long story short, it was a bad temp sensor.

I've heard of the bad temp sensor thing, maybe that would explain why it doesn't do it with my initial start up. The only light my 94 speedster has is a low oil light and that was not on. If it is a bad temp sensor, why would accelerating to WOT make it go away? Once it does go away I can drop to idle and it stays off. How would I go about testing to see if that is really it? Also, are these temp sensors really about $50 a piece? I've been doing a little looking around and it seems that's about the cheapest I can find them, give or take a few bucks.
