94 Sp

Hi everyone,

New to pwc and the forum. I just picked up a 94 Sp and had it out on the water over the weekend. It runs really well in a straight line but as soon as I start into a turn it really loses power. It happens much more pronounced when I turn left then when I turn right but it still happens. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated since we had a blast out on the river this weekend.

Does the engine bog down, or does it rev, and just slow down?

It's normal for a loss of performance when turning, since you are redirecting the thrust, and there is more load on the engine.

Hey thanks for getting back to me. It bogs down pretty bad, I know it won't stay as fast in the turns but the ski almost comes to a complete stop and then when you straighten out it's right back to running pretty hard. It's also pretty hard to hold a turn since once it starts to lose power it just wants to go straight or spin completely.
