Definitely "glo-plugged" rear piston(PTO?)...some "errosion" exhaust side of piston.
Advice to is to do total rebuild on top, both cylrs and pistons. SBT motor, and its looks as if its been bored out .001 each side. carbs are recently re-built by a top notch guy-bills66e- carbs, tank, top end taken off by us. Curious if any one has any thoughts or advice? maybe just one piston/cylr, as opposed to both? Will bore out on cylndrs another .0005-.001 be an issue with compression, as one cyl/piston looks "ok" to me. thanks guys!

If you melted a piston, I would take the entire engine apart, and check the crank and the seals before moving forward.

If you melted a hole in the center of the piston... something is very wrong. Either you have crank seal leaks, your crank is out of index, or your carbs are messed up.

engine freely and cranks over...just a very small "hole" in top of piston(from glo puggin) and slight "erosion" on the exhaust side of piston. Piston not "melted". Still moves freely in the cylinder when spun with crank. Thanks alot....we're in the process of figuring the next move. Already have top end off and carbs/ tank..etc so..the "wizard" is going to do his "magic" in the next few days..and we'll go from there.

We will probablly end up taking entire engine out, BUT, I'm in a cost-saving situation and do not want to put a boatload of money into a ski I bought for 800. Thanks again!
