94 GTX Float Replace

Can someone on this forum please tell me if I can replace the float in my 94 GTX without pulling the fuel tank? And, are there any special tricks or technique required to perform this repair? Thanks!!! This is an awesome forum, I love it!!:thumbsup:

The 94GTX should be a breeze, you shouldn't even need to move the fuel tank. It's pretty much the same hull as a 96GTI, just label the hoses connected to the baffle, disconnect the hoses, pull the baffle, remove the screen from the bottom of the baffle remove the float, replace with the new white molded type.

ya, that should be pretty easy, with some models you have to slide the take forward a bit, but your's should be easy.

Don't overpay for the float ! $15 shipped on ebay.

hahaha, I don't know. I ordered two, one for my 92 and another for my 94 GTX. If your located in Ft Myers, then I guess it's been a pleasure doing binniz with ya.

yip... that was me: as I was pulling into the PO yesterday I noticed that the Alabama package was a double.

I had a little more than 100 of those dam things, I'm down to the last two !
