94 gtx 657 compatable carbs

Can anyone help me with what years,models,engine size(carbs) will bolt up to my sea doo? I have mikuni sbn 38 carbs and might buy a set off ebay and replace them. Will the 787 set up work? THANKS

Here's a carb. reference chart, you can use other year carbs. some are completely compatible some you will need to jets and needles, you have a type 1 base most if not all 787 carbs. have the type 2 base so no you can't use a 787 carb.

Added: Tell you what, better idea, PM minnetonka4me, he'll sell you a good used set of carbs, for probably less than EBay, it will be the correct set and he'll even rebuild them and set them up for your ski.

Thanks for the info. Picked this up as a non runner with the old fuel lines thought it was an easy fix,but the carbs look like crap I don't want to put money into it till it run's. I was going to do a clean up on some hundred dollar or less carbs and if she run's and is otherwise healthy will look into a good set. Mine aren't even worth rebuilding, also I'm new here I don't think I'm allowed to pm yet. THANKS FOR THE HELP

Before you do anything I would do a compression test, this will give you a general idea of the condition of the motor.
