Okay, I changed springs back to originals in carbs and the 95 actually started. BUT lacked a lot of power @ wide open when in the water and bogged down to almost nothing. Then it would take a few seconds before it would slowly pick up and take off with little power @ 5000rpm.....The 94 on the other hand still smoked heavily after spring swap and in water had no power. Idle is a little rough too. I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and let a shop take over.
UPDATE: After reading a few horror stories in this forum about shady, misleading, half a$$ shops taking folks to the bank maybe I should keep working on these myself...
I also noticed the 95 had some black fluid that has come out of one of the spark plug holes since running it. (I'm wondering if this might be leftovers from my original Jerry rig job to the diaphragms before buying the rebuild kit?)
Jerry Rig: Black Silicone on diaphragms to temp patch pin holes
Please Help!
