92 XP gauges

Both gauges stopped working on my 92 XP. The owners manual indicates that there is a 2 amp fuse protecting the gauges, but I've looked in the electric box and followed the wiring to the gauges and can't seem to find one. The standard 5amp and 15amp fuses are in the box, but both are good. Anybody have a clue if there is a 2 amp fuse and if so, where it might be?

On the early skis... I'm not sure... but use a meter, and see if you have power at the gauges.

If you have a fuse... it will be in the gray box.

Duh! Should they have power with just the ignition switch on, or does the engine need to be running? I can check both ways, so no big deal. Thanks for the quick reply!

they should have power when you put the lanyard on. (doesn't need to be running)
