I have a 99 1800 that I'm restoring with two new 787s. I'm in the process of installing everything back on the motors. I got the gasket kit with the new motors and was wonding about a few things:
1. The crank shaft seal- how to remove the old one and put in the new one.
2. What do I use to seal the head pipe to the cone pipe. I see they use a brass washer in the drawings but I'm all confused on how to get one and what to use and just all in all how to do it. There was some kinda of sealant on the old one i took off but I don't remember any type of washer.
Im off shore right now as i got called out early so im doing as much research as possbile while I'm here so I can hit the floor running when I get home. Everything I have learned as pretty much been off this site so Thank You in advance.
