I don't know if many people know this, I found a little check valve in the tubing going from the bottom of the carb to the accelerator pump. I need to replace this because I lost one :( and I also need the diaphragm for the pump as well. Does anyone know where I can buy these cheap?

Interesting. That's the line feeding fuel into the accelerator pump correct? Could you post a pic of said check valve?

You didn't see any other check valves on the other lines coming out of the accel pump did you?

It must be something that was added the original check valves are external, the little canister looking green thing, at the right side of the picture.

It's a recharge jet 270500348 Item # 59--originally internal. And you can get the diaphragm from OSDparts.com Ask OSD if they have the jet, they list it on their site but show a 0 quantity. Just trying to keep it a one stop shop. Supposedly the diaphragm is not available from Seadoo anymore. This is the only reason I'm directing you towards OSD, but they are awesome to deal with too and great prices. I have ordered the diaphragms from them and they are nice pieces.

And here is a thread about this too, Pale Rider is not using them there is a full explanation in the thread (I have it bookmarked for my reference)

?1. yes it feeds
?2. I'll take a picture tomorrow
?3. no there was not another one

I can tell you what it looks like. It looks like a bullet.

hey lou, where did you get that check valve. That should work.
I would have replaced that fuel line and not given it another thought if I hadn't felt the line.
racerxxx you know I looked at that diagram and didn't even notice 59 thanks for pointing that out.
thanks for your replies

I know the clamp vs zip tie thing has been discussed but the zip tie sure does make for a clean looking install.

update I went to watercraft superstore and looked for 99 challenger (red) the green does not list #59 so I ordered the recharge and the diaphragm for both engines, I wish they made the diaphragm with a non-rusting metal. I also wish I would have read pale rider's post before I blew that recharge across the garage and never to be found lol.

Well long story short I replaced the accel pump lines 6months ago not knowing that recharge jet was in there. Haven't run right scince.

Looking at the 99xpl carb diagram don't show the jet either. Anyone knows wich way the jet installs?
