720 motor- whats the correct degree Rotary Valve replacement? 147 or 159?

I need to order a new one. the manual for both my 95xp and 98gts with 720 motor says 147 degree, but the places like Parker and others have listed 159 for replacement. which one is correct for my motor so i can order it? thanks

well no replies and i got to order.... Parker, Onlyseadoo and Riva all list 159 degree rotary valve for 720 motor in 95 XP so guess im going with that one.

Dude.... relax. You asked your question in the middle of the night (for the east cost guys)... and only gave it 4 hours. We are fast around here... but give it at least 24 hr's before bumping your post.

Yes... a 159 is what you want.

hahaha.... sorry about that DrHonda... i work late nights and forget these things...... my apologies...... and thanks for verifying the 159. i ordered it late last night (about 530am your time! ) and the degree angle tool too. I think my old rotary valve is part of my problem. im not gonna get into why or what happened (well does a loose bolt falling in thru the carb and manifold sound familiar while the motor is running!! loctite!!) thanx
