so i bought a 97 seadoo xp. guy stated that he flipped it and it doesn't sound right after that. thinks he may have gotten water in the engine but nothing seems wrong to me.

with the trailer and the seadoo is in great condition(no tears or fiberglass patches anywhere.) everything for $700.

Is this a good deal? I thought so.

It depends on long the water was in the cylinders. if at all. Ask him lots of questions...how high was the water?, did he pump it from the spark plug holes ASAP?, did he flip it back over correctly, etc

Open up all Eboxes to check for water damage, check compression.

Where are you in Michigan?

Get compression readings, should be above 135psi, and take it for a 15-20min. ride, if it checks out buy it. Yes it's a decent price, but there's going to be lots of good deals, over the next 4-6 weeks. After that guys will probably wait till spring to sell when prices go up.
