4tec Diagnosis

Hi Everyone,
I've been able to retrieve trouble codes by using the set button on the handlebar on older models. The newer models don't have a set or mode button. Is there another way to get codes on these models?

Dawg, looks like everything will eventually be using the computer software to do all the diagnosis on these things..........they will eventually cut out the shade tree mechanic.
I was just thumbing through the 2007 manual and it does say that, if there is a problem, a fault code ("P" code) will be generated and viewed in the info center display. But it doesn't look like there is much more you can do with it like you could the older model 4-TECs and 947's..........
