I have a 2007 GTX Wake (215 HP) with a bad motor and supercharger. Came across a 2006 215hp motor with the supercharger for sale. Does anyone know if the 2006 motor will work in my 2007 without mods?

Thanks

the previous owner of my rxp took a 04 hull and put a 06 motor and hood/cowl on top im don't know much but id think so

It will only madder on electronics but if you keep same electronic that you had it will work but if you change to 06 you will have issues because lcd and mpem are different.

Not true can be updated that year

my bad if i'm wrong, maybe the late 06's were a updated?
I thought the 06 were old, 07's were half & half, 08's were new.

you could always swap them over from the original motor .... in this example you have two engines so the chances increase of one having the updates.

The exhaust valves are hollow and liable to break, dropping the round part in to party with the piston. Usually occurs at speed, so it's rowdy [emoji12]

06 had several changes mid year so it depends on what you get. you can make it work but you'll need to make sure exactly what you have.
