RESTO 3d print a jet pump housing in ABS?

Thanks for having me at the forums! First post. I'm curious if anyone had tried to 3d model/print the pump housing for the older skis in ABS? They're heavy, would take a lot of filament, but they're pretty simple. If you had your printer tweaked for ABS I don't know why this wouldn't work. Thoughts?

How would you do it? Is there a laser system to read it and make a cad drawing of it?

Yeah, it's pretty basic shape wise, you would have to insert pauses in the gcode at appropriate layers to insert nuts and sleeves. A $300 scanner from Amazon would probably do the job.
