I’m buying a used SeaDoo Sportster or Speedster. Does 2 stroke mean I have to mix gas and oil? And 4 stroke is just gas? Sorry but I’m a little green...not sure what to get, but I see lots around 7 grand (Canadian) around 2006 and the models vary...any suggestions?

Usually, the 2-stroke models will have oil injection systems to where you add oil to a separate tank, and it mixes it for you. Some people convert it to run pre-mix, where you would have to mix yourself. It's more reliable that way, as long as you always remember to add the oil. 4-strokes are essentially car engines and don't burn the oil. It must be changed every season.
