My 2009 GTX 155 did not come with the Variable Trim System that mty 2014 has. I have been playing around with it a little and have found I just leave it in the middle on 6 or 7. If I am in rough lake water am I better to go higher on the number scale or the other way?

I have not found much for information on this system yet. What have you figured out on this system.

Thank,s
Greg

OK,,,
Nose down for greatest out of hole performance and better handling performance. Once on plane, raise the VTS a bit so you don't bow-steer in turns and get thrown off. High speeds bow up for greatest performance.

On rough water you want the bow down a bit as you will gain steering efficiency. So somewhere in the middle. This will limit the bounce as well.

If you like to jump your ski in the rough water, trim it all the way nose up!
