I just bought a 2013 Wake 155. I was just wondering, what is the proper break in procedure? What does Seadoo look for as far as voiding your warranty goes? Also my dealer told me I needed to have it in for an inspection at 20 hours, but I keep seeing 10 hours. Did he get the time for the inspection confused or did they switch it up to 20 hours recently?

I am a compete newbie when it comes to PWCs. Is there anything else important that I should know about taking care of the machine? How long should I wait for the first oil change?

Note: I already have 2 hours on it. I just ran the learning key for most of it because I knew I would not be able to resist going WOT. (Although towards the end I caved and put in the normal key being careful not to stay WOT for very long)

I'm not sure why they told you 20hrs. It's usually 10 when you have to get the first oil change performed. As far as break in, run the regular key and vary your rpm as much as possible. Never stay at a given rpm for a long period of time. Going WOT is perfectly OK just don't stay there for more than a few seconds for the first 5 hrs or so. Now go out there and enjoy it!!
