I am having a problem with getting IBR Module error codes. This happens after various usage times and during various types of usage of the machine. Could be going fast and hard or could be slowly cruising-- either way the machine will suddenly generate the code and I lose neutral and reverse. Suddenly the machine will slow and beep and notify me that a IBR error has occurred. At times I can shut off the machine and restart and the code will go away for a while. Other times it takes a couple of hours before the machine resets when restarted. Also the time I use the machine before a code is generated changes. Sometimes it generates in ten minutes. Other times it could be a hour before it generates.
The dealer says they can tell the code was generated but they cannot tell why. I cannot get the machine to them with the code generated because the machine resets. They replaced a switch in the handle control but this has not helped. Also I adjusted the trim level with the code generated so it does not seem to be a problem with the mechanism at the back of the Seadoo. The dealer sees no corrosion at the back of the unit.
Has anyone else had this problem? And if so what was the solution?
Thanks

Not to much to troubleshoot the IBR system. It’s either the gate is binding, bushings worn, bent, or broken, or the IBR module is kaput. Your going to want to service your gate before you put in a new module so get your hands on a service manual and start there.
