2012 RXP-260 Reverse question

I searched and couldn't find an answer: On our 2012 RXP-260's, the electronic steering is backwards from everything else EVER in the water. The habit to not counter steer when in reverse is impossible to break and inconsistent with anything else we drive/ ride/ etc. Is there an easy way to correct/ invert the steering?

My RXT is the logical way. If nozzle is to the left, it will back to the left. But my GTX is opposite,, I almost never ride the GTX. And when I do, it screws me all up..

For me its kind of like backing a trailer, you turn in the opposite way you want to go....confusing at first figuring out which way to turn, but I don't have any other vessels so it doesn't bother me so much. I wouldn't know of anyway to change this because reverse is just directing the nozzle into the drop down gate and deflecting water backward in the opposite direction. I rarely reverse unless at a dock and then I'm going slow enough to just use trial and error.

You shouldn't complain. The reverse on the IBR models is way better than any other reverse from prior years. There is no way to change it, you'll get used to it.
