This is my first post...I recently purchsed an 08 GTI SE 130 and noticed there is no fuel vent hose. Is this a big deal? I looked through the shop manual and on page 265, it shows the parts, but also states above the diagram, Non vented fuel cap model.
I think I have a vented fuel cap and therefore, don't need the vent line...In the picture attached, a sticker is shown stating, "Use only BRP vented fuel cap". The cap appears to be stock, but being a used machine, how do I know if its a vented fuel cap?
I also checked the battery and it is sealed, so no vent line for it.
If I don't need the vent lines, is it OK to plug the vent holes in the hull?
My speedometer also does not work. The speed sensor paddle wheel does turn with no problems and the speed sensor connector seems to have a solid connection. All other guages seem to work fine.
