Can any advise.... After about 30 seconds of engine starting I hear a long ,loud beep followed by the "check engine" icon blinking for about 3 seconds. Then a code shows what looks like PQ116 or possibly PO116 on my control. The ski does not run rough, no loss of power, etc. I checked under ski in intake area and in rear of jet with no debris found. Can anyone help me as to what the problem might be. The owners manual says zero about this.

Sincerely, Armand

sheck your coolant, p0116 is engine temp sensor function problem, possibilities are Damaged sensor, damaged circuit wires, damaged connector or damaged ECM pins.
Service action:
Check for debris or blockage in cooling system.
i see that there is maybe a possible ride plate leak ???

There is a water line that connects to the exhuast just before the water box. With the ski outa the water...on a lift or trailer...disconnect that line...wormdrive clamp. Here's the fun part...lean into the engine bay and blow on that hose. Sometimes....sometimes...the intake for that hose becomes clogged with minor debris...causing an exhaust cooling restriction.

see if that helps

Thanks a million...i'll check into that... Armand
