I have a bad ECM for and 07 RXT ECM 665785. I pulled one from a junk 05 RXP 664947 with the safety lanyard.
It does not give the two beeps but seems to start up and run fine. I generated an error condition by unplugging the
oil prssure switch and the check engine light comes on with error code but no audio error beep sound. The audio did work with the
previous module.
Is it OK to use this module or could it possibly cause damage to the engine?
I found a company online torxracing that can reprogram any siemens module to whatever map you need for $200. i.e 05 RXP Module reprogrammed to 07 RXT
