Hello All:
I have the Challenger sitting on 13" wheels. I want to upgrade to 14" or maybe even 15" rims and tires. Can anyone tell me what I should know about this type of change? I looked online at trailertireandwheels dot com and they show the diameter differences as follows:
13" = 24.7 with 185/80/13 tires
14" = 26.3 with 205/75/14 tires
15" = 28.4 with 225/75/15 tires
Keeping in mind the diameter differences are split between top/bottom of wheel (that is to say it is spread accross its circumference) so for instance the 4.3" difference between a 13 and 15 in rim works out to be about 2" on top and a rise of 2" on the bottom. I do not think this 2" top variance is enough to touch the boat, however I do think I will need to adjust the wheel fender out. Is that possible and how so?
Thanks for any input!
