2006 Challenger 180 FS, NE Florida

Well, I finally get her all working and patched up and now I'm selling her. Trailering turned out to be a bigger PITA than I was hoping, HoA is yelling about cars in the driveway, wife doesn't like a fast 'wavy' boat.

She's listed for 11,500 on craigslist: http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/boa/4272746193.html. There's a little wiggle room though.

In the past 9 months I've put in:
Engine rebuild, $2200
2013 galv Karavan trailer, $1400
Supercharger Rebuild and Oil Cooler, $1200
New intercooler, $1200
New battery, $110
New Speakers, $50

As far as I can tell she's pretty much brand new mechanically.

The only thing 'wrong' that I can tell is the rear seat vinyl could use some bleaching (the mechanics could've been a little cleaner). The only tear in the vinyl is about 1.5" in the corner and it has a patch over it.

Title and registration is all up to date.

Thanks for looking and have a great day,
Mike

Still available. Cleaned up the seats and updated the ad with more and brighter pictures.

Did find another crack in the vinyl though. Still good shape overall.

Nice looking boat. Try selling it more aggressively in the Spring for maybe a higher retail.

Are the challengers the boat that's porpoises a lot?

Thanks. It's definitely not the best time to sell but I'd think there's someone gearing up for the season and all it takes is one shopper. If it takes until spring, so be it.

Some people complain about the porpoising. I haven't found it to be as bad as others. It's a small light boat that tosses about over waves. That's the problem my wife has with it. You really gotta control and approach wake the right way or make sure your passengers are holding on tight. Definitely 70% jet ski, 30% boat and a far cry from the 21' deck boats she was used to.
