2005 RXT 215 Voltage Problem ***Need Help***

Hello everyone!

Would someone be able to help me out with my situation that i am in...
I recently came across a fault code on my 215.
The digital dash said "12V HI"
I returned the boat to its launch point which wasn't face ( i kept it at idle pace)
nothing seemed wrong and boat was running normal... (feel sound etc...)
i also checked the code for it and it came out "P0562"
The code only shows up when the engine is running...
there is no active fault codes when lanyard is in without the engine running

Im not super aware of my machine since it was recently given to me. But any pointers would be greatly appreciate...

I will be taking it into my marine mechanic this week and want to at least know what is going on.

Are you sure you didn't see 12V Low on the screen? The P0562 is a low voltage message. If you did indeed see the 12V HIGH then I would suspect a regulator. But with the active P0562 you need to take a look at your charging system. Do you have a multimeter? If so read what the battery voltage is with ski off. Then get a reading when its running in lake/trailer w/ hose, you should see around 12.1-12.6V with the ski off. And 13-13.5V with the ski running. If you can get a reading post back it will help us determine where to go next.
