2005 gtx limited

I have a 2005 gtx limited , max revs 6550 @ 64 kph tried 3 dfferent lanyard keys,learner,yellow dess, and black one,all same results ,ski has 86hrs due to go in for rebuild , runs smooth as not rough no vibrations, anyone have any ideas or had similar problems ,cheers

Sounds like your supercharger. Hopefully you mean your supercharger is "due to go in for rebuild", and not your engine. Unless your supercharger has been rebuilt since it was purchased, I wouldn't advise riding it again until it's done. And hopefully the washers are still good. Good luck!

Learners key shouldn't see those revs.

If it's never been rebuilt...you're way past over due for rebuild.

How's the oil level looking?

Thanks for the replys guys, yes booked in to get the supercharger rebuilt and a check over, oil level is ok, 86 hrs didn't think I was way over for a rebuild,

its not the 86 hours, its the 10 years that makes the rebuild necessary

Yes,, WELL past the rebuild requirement due to age...

The oil question is relevant if you are over-full, if so, it puts to much pressure in the crank area and affects engine performance.
