Good evening every one! I have a good story I'm going to put on the general board but for now I need to know why my 2004 rxp S/C ran great, went to the dock had some lunch came back and it wouldn't start! At first it turned over like 2 times would just about start then dead. I pulled my plugs at the dock and all three were bone dry! I checked all my fuses and all are in great shape. I turn it over now and it just turns over dosn't fire at all. Is there a fuel pump or filter I should look at first before I start digging in to the heavy stuff?? Please help

P.S. You have to read the post about my day on the ocean which will show you the very unforcanate day I had.....

I would check your compression. from what I have heard it needs to be like 110. I had the same issue with an 2003 GTX DI and the compression had dropped to like 50. Well needless to say the engine was shot. Hope that isn't the case with yours but what you are experiencing is exactly what I did. Good Luck

Well I swapped my 2004 gtx fuel pump with my 2004 rxp fuel pump. the gtx ran fine with the rxp fuel pump so thats not my problem! I put fuel in my cylinders and it ran till the fuel ran out in the cylinders. I'm thinking it's my Injecters! I know there are three 10 amp fuses for each injecter but is there a main that I might have blown? please help

Hey I'm thinking about swithching My ECU out of my 2004 GTX 185 s/c to my 2004 rxp 215 just to try and figure out if it's the ecu! I don't plan on running it long just to see if the unit will fire with the other ECU! what do you think?

Outside of my experience relm. But it appears you are on the right track. At least when you put fuel in the cylinders it ran

Well I swiched ECU's and glad to say my RXP ECU is fine!!!! The only difference the 185 s/c did was obvously require the rxp lanyard and idoled at 2250 rpm. 185 s/c ecu makes it idol at 1800 rpm! I also swopped some sensors to no avail!!! Bugger me I say; I was looking forward to Karl coming over with a big bag of marshmellos and some of his unbeilevable wisdom! Well I have to put the cheap Scothish stuff aside and pay a mechanic to put it on BUDS! Maybe they'll let me sweap the shop for payment!!! hahaha dought it but I'll ask! Thanks all for your help I'll post when I have the answer!

I brought my rxp up to Westwood this morning and put it on the buds system to find out why it wont start! They told me it was a fuel pump ground fault! I'm not to sure but is that all this system tells you or would it tell you which sensor it would be! frickin rip off they were!
