2003 yamaha xlt1200

I just purchased a 2003 xlt1200 and other than waveeater mods for the power valves, I was curious as to what all I needed to do before taking it to the water for the first time?

You don't have to do it before you take it out....but soon! .... Remove the Converter and replace with a D plate and cat temp sensor, $95 for both from Riva Motorsports. Easy DIY in a couple hrs. I have done 2 in the last week, The converter comes apart and stops the exhaust up.
