new to this forum.hope someone can help.2003 gtx the supercharger is not working.it only has 26 hrs.i just got this ride and have no history of it.what can i look for its on a trailer.thanks in advance for any suggestions
Can you turn the supercharger impeller by hand? If you can... the washers exploded. If that's what you find... You will need to do a full disassemble of the engine to find the broken parts.
If that's not what the issue is... what are the symptoms??
machine runs fine but it has no boost.last owner said sometimes it would work and other times it would not.i dont want to run it till i find out whats going on.less expense the better
Listen to Dr Honda and try to turn the supercharger impeller by hand. That'll likely answer what is wrong, and is definitely the first step in diagnosing.
just checked charger impeller and there is oil on it and some oil in the tube.the impeller does not turn freely.i take it this is not a good sign.thanks again
charger is out.i put the nut end in a vise and there is no slippage.looks like it was apart once already because there is silicone on mating surfaces.should i take it apart to check oil seal?
