2003 RXDI slower than 2001 RXDI?

Hey all, I recently purchased the 2003 because I had a 2001 and LOVED IT! That thing was a MONSTER! The 2003 has 135 psi both cylinders, fuel pressure at 105, but the top speed just seems a touch slower and the pull out of the hole seems a touch weaker. Has a tiny knick out of the impeller, I mean tiny...like .25"/2mm. Could that be causing my slight difference or did seadoo tune the engine back a bit from the 2001? My 2002 gtxdi seems to pull harder out of the hole.

Also, how can i tell if the impeller was changed to a different pitch from stock.

I don't know the answer to your questions BUT I think seadoo makes their own impellers so if yours says skat or solas then I think that means it's aftermarket.

As for the pitch...dunno. what are your rpm's on both seadoos doing? whats the condition of the pumps? the wear rings? have you cleaned your rave vales? etc...

6850 on high end. speed is a tad bit slower from i remember. dont have the 2001 anymore. I'll look and see if i can find some kind of logo on it. thanks for the insight.
