Hey all. Another question on my 03 RXDI. I bough a new front cover. Ya know the big one that goes over my storage bin.
Anyway, I bought the loctite specified in the manual, which is basically nothing more than super glue, in the larger tube, to secure the new(top) and old(bottom) pieces together....first, would you try to clean some of the old stuff off the bottom half before gluing the pieces together? Also, would you heat up the screws with a hot air gun before turning them in? The reason I ask is originally all the ones that weren't around the super glued area by the hinge were snapped off. I though maybe heating them up first might help cut them in to the flimsy posts/standoffs.
