Hello everyone .. Newby here .. Hoping for answers to a few (probably silly beginner) questions ...

1. I know that my Utopia was well cared for and always professionally winterized .. What I don't know is what maintenance was done over the years and have no way of finding out at this point .. Would you recommend I bring it in for a tune up to check fluids , plugs etc?

2. I'm thinking of replacing the existing CD player and 2 speakers as well as upgrading the speaker wire .. I've done this myself in cars previously without much issue .. Is this a fairly easy task? The only things I worry about our fishing the wires through to the speaker holes , especially to the drivers side but I haven't opened her up to see how difficult it would be .. Also, the speakers I see that I like have a 5 screw layout , my boat has a 4 screw layout so I would have to drill into the fiberglass which makes me nervous as i don't want to mess up the gelcoat and whatnot.. Any advice?

3. I'm going to buy an anchor, I've found one on amazon that has very positive reviews but gives me several weight options .. Is a 10# anchor sufficient or should I go with the 13#?

Thank you in advance for your help !

first off, sorry no one has answered anything for you, most general maintance can be done by you im sure, without seeing your sparkplugs, i cant tell you if they have been changed recently, as far as stereo upgrades, there is a lot of changes ive seen in the (modify)section , and here is one from fosters boat, (he keeps imacculate) http://www.seadooforum.com/showthread.php?15966-1998-Speedster-Audio-Project -- and the anchor issue, goes by what kinda waves you get where you go, alot of boats here in fla, use 2, throw firts one off the bow, then wait till boat settles, then the transom anchor -- good luck, and check the modify section here cause lots of people here have lots of tunes in their boats, and -- we like pictures -- so take pictures, add to your post, and im sure people will jump right in !!!
