2002 SeaDoo GTX: Erratic Beeping Sounds, Screen flashing, won't start, new battery 12.7V

Hello Seadoo Team:
Today, I rode my Seadoo around all day and then stopped to take a dip. Thereafter, trying to start the engine, the Sea-Doo made erratic beeping sounds and didn't even turn over. I checked the battery, and it read 12.7V (not 13.1V).

Concern: This PWC has a brand new battery and rectifier installed by the dealer.

Question: Do I take it back to the dealer 1+hour away, or what else should I try? It appears the rectifier is not charging the battery correctly.

12.7 when not running doesn't sound like a dead battery. Did the starter engage? With beeping it may be a DESS problem. Check the service manual for DESS beep codes.
