2002 gtx 4 tech

Has anyone herd of a problem with 4 tech lifters/hydralic lash adjusters. I have low compression on center cylinders, intake valves not closing all the way, no free play on rockers

Lifters

I've never had or heard of 4tec lifter problems but there's a first time for everything. Loosen or remove rocker shaft and see if valves seal then.

once the carbon was removed from the seats the valves sealed, now the head is on the work bench and the cause ts still unknown
