Hi, can anyone help, I have a GTX 4 TEC and when the seats are in place it seems to run in limp mode although no error on the display, when I remove the seats it runs perfectly to maximum RPM, I get maximum performance going into the wind when I turn out of the wind I gradually loose the performance again. Now I have removed the small compartment immediatley in front of the drivers seat and removed the rear seat going into the wind it runs like a dream going out of the wind sometimes goes into limp mode again no error message on display.
I cannot understand the 4" vent tube running from front to back where is it getting the air from when all seats are in place?
I am suspect of the exhaust overheating and when going into the wind I am getting some air cooling on the exhaust rather than water cooling could this be the case?
Does the cooling system for the exhaust require bleeding on these machines as the jetski has been not used for 6 months?
