2002 4tec - Can you repair the LCD yourself? Long Beep?

I have a bad LCD on my 02 4tec.

Is their a way to repair this myself and if so where can I purchase the LCD ? I cant see paying $600 for the entire gauge console.

My speedo and RPM also not working but not important if I could just get the LCD working to see Gas level and Codes.

These beeps drive me crazy, I get one long beep after riding a short time.

Sorry answer is no, i tried it when I had a sunburned LCD. It is in no way a serviceable part. Sorry man.

The sunburned LCDs can be repaired, just needs new photo mylar sheet. There's a place in FL that repairs them for $150 on ebay.

As far as repairing the functional aspect, that's a different story and probably not a simple fix. Not aware of anyone repairing them but would be a good business to be in.
