I recently acquired a 2001 GTX DI project and started putting the bottom end together yesterday. After assembly I noticed a sentence i overlooked "Ensure to position lubrication hole on top (If so equipped)"- see picture. Any way I have no idea what direction the hole is facing or if i even have a hole on mine and i really dont want to pull the bottom end back apart as i used the last of my jet pump oil in the assembly yesterday. I guess my question is, is there any way to know if my counter balance shaft bearing is equipped with the hole with out pulling it apart? ive been looking at pictures all morning but still am not sure. Thanks alot for your help!
