OK, I've messed with my idle and LSA now so many times (no, I didn't mark where the idle screw was prior to adjustments) and now I can't get it back to really pulling from idle!!
Does anyone have the stock idle setting with a LSA at 1.25 turns? (1.25 is stock if I remember correctly)

P.S. Why the hell didn't SEADOO put the idle, LSA, and HSA knobs wher you can friggin' reach them???? GRRRRRRRRR!!!!

Your settings are:

Low: 1-1/2 turns
High: 0 turns

after setting the screws... adjust the idle to 1500 RPM's in the water.

Thank you, "Doctor!"
Additionally, I was about to pull the carbs and begin dis-assembly when I decided to check the RAVEs as a starting point to my problem (which was terrible accel and no RPM's past 4K). OH, I also had a metallic clanging noise which I attributed to the "normal" Seadoo XP noise. When I removed the MAG RAVE cap, I found my problem (or at least I hope) The upper spring holding the boot on had slipped off, but only partially! This would DEFINITELY explain the "clanging" noise, but is it possible that it is also my other problem?!? I thought I understood the RAVE system, but I guess I don't fully get it.
Well, going to put her back together and, in the eternal words of Dee Snider, "CRANK IT UP!"

The RAVEs were definitely the problem...but now I've got a HIGH idle (out of water) at 6K!! YIKES! I didn't touch any throttle adjustments...any idea as to what could be causing this? I'm perplexed!!!
