2000 gtx hole shoot problem

i have a 2000 gtx. i rebuilt and cleanned carbs. it runs fine at top speed around 60 mph. the problem it has is getting out of the hole, and into a plane. if you punch the gas from when its sittingand idleing it boggs and the engine will die if you keep it pressed in, but if i pump, pump ,pump the gas lever a bit to kind of get the rpms up a bit and then hold it down it will go but not all the time. i have to play with the throtle to get it going. but once its going it runs fine just fine. till i let off the gas then its back to pumping the throtle to get it going again it really sucks to tho this. any help or advice would be appreciated. i need to fix this problem. i have to play with the gas for several minutes sometimes before i geet a good respance from the engine to get me into a plane ang going. i live in san diego if theres anyone near by that can help me that likes cold beer pm me.

wow man sounds like a doozie... i would try and reclean the carbs... did you clean the internal carb filter.... and how do your r.a.v.e.'s look? one of mine had a bad seal it would sound like it was haulin ace but only doin like 35-40 pump the gas she would take off cleaned them out put a new seal on and...viola!!!

ok guys carbs look fine i think the problem is going to be the accelerator pump. unfortunately i have the one with the roung diaphragm and it was a pain inn the ass to find it, took me hours of searching but i got it. heres the link if anyone else ever needs to find it,

were the brass fittings squirting fuel into throat of carbs?

ok guys i think i found my problem it was in the acc pump. the diaphragm was fine it is the little orange one way valve that is in there that is messed up. does any one know were to get one. or have a spare one.
