Bought a 2013 GTI 130 and a wake pro 215. I got them 7/28/2014 so less than 30 days of posting this. On the weekend of Aug 8th my wake pro 215 somehow became desync from the normal key and the dealer was closed till Tuesday so lost that weekend on that jet ski. I brought both jet skis in on the 15th which is a friday to get the key problem fixed. They reprogrammed both keys to both jet skis, so either key starts either jet skis. Started both before I left dealer with both keys and had no problems. I put the jet skis back into storage. Then the weekend of the 22nd my wife and I we to a lake for the weekend with them. 22nd we settled in and on saturday the 23rd we wanted to ride them. This is what happened.
GTI 130:
The screen would only flicker for a sec then turn off. I couldn't get the screen to turn on. So I dropped everything and went to the dealer before they closed (they are not open sundays and mondays). After an hour drive to the dealer we find out the batteries dead. So the dealer put a fully charged new battery in. Once they did that the screen turned on with out anyone touching anything. We then put the key on and it tried to start with no one touching the start button. Then we pulled the key off and the screen stayed lite but then it was reading key. We couldnt get the screen off. It also would short beep once randomly. They plugged it in to the computer and it has a IBR fault and a low voltage fault. They told me they need to keep it to work on it but not to worry because its covered under warranty. I was still upset though because it was the second weekend I lost a ski, and they were not sure they could have it fixed by labor day weekend and my wife and I are going camping with our skis 6 hours away. I asked for a loaner but they said they do not do loaners. This is really upsetting to me it has 9 hours on it I feel really ripped off and kinda disappointed with the sea doo brand.
