1999 seadoo xp ltd starting problems

When i press the start button the drive shaft that turns the impeller will only turn a few times then stops. When i take the key off and try it again the drive shaft would hardly turn. If i take the key off and and i wait a few then try it again and press the start button down it still wont hardly turn but while i hold the start button i get the beeping sound as it tries to turn the drive shaft.

ive checked, oil, gas, spark plugs, battery has a full charge.

please help

Try This

Remove the spark plug boots, and ground then on the grounding posts. Remove the spark plugs. Remove the cover/shield that cover the PTO flywheel at the rear of the motor. Rotate the flywheel by hand. Does it turn over easily?

i tried it today and it will not turn over easy...

Try putting about a teaspoon or so of oil down each spark plug hole. Does it turn any easier?
