1998 sportster trunk?

Hello all I just bought a 1998 sportster with a single 717 engine. It’s missing the inside of the trunk over the engine. Can anyone tell me if one from a 1998 speedster is the same size and would fit? Thanks!

Best thing to do is go to a Sea-Doo parts finders online like watercraft superstore and look up the part numbers from both years and see if they are the same.
