After reading others similar problem of blowing fuses I must have short somewhere. Heard talk about shaving in bendiz area. Removed starter. Found small peice of metal about the size of pencil head inside where starter inserts. Any ideas as to what the piece could have come off of inside there. It does not appear to be broken metal. Should we remove the ignition cover also and inspect inside around the stator. Any help would be great Thanks Norm

is the 15amp fuse connected to your started solenoid in the front electrical box? im pretty sure, but not 100% that is a charging fuse. if the fuse pops when the boat is running, i would start by having a multimeter on the battery and have someone start the boat and see what the charging voltage is. im pointing in the direction that the voltage regulator might be shot. again somewhere to start but im not sure when that fuse is blowing.

You'll have to mark mounts & lift/block up engine and open stator cover. Your problem is a broken bracket or metal particles infiltrator. Just vaccum out. If bracket all new brackets are stronger made by seadoo.
