I have checked the fuses and all are ok.
I put it in N throttles in back position and pull choke and depress start.
All I get is a chrip and a one second beep.
I do not get the ready beeps when the key is put on.

Any help would be apreciated.

I replaced the computer 5 years ago due to me charging it on high amp jump start like a dummy. Hope it is not another computer as that was expensive.

clean the landyard and post, with an eraser. play with the f/n/r lever, see if its not "seating" corectly.

I cleaned the key and nothing. I messed with the throttles and nothing. So I started random pressing on the starters and moving the throttles and FNR lever and I finally got 2 beeps.

It started

I stopped it and started it several times and did not want to heat up the wear rings etc.

so now I try my other key Nothing

I go back to my first key that was in when it started NOTHIG just one chirp and one beep.

Did I go back into diagnostic mode?
Is this the cause. If so how do I get out of diagnostic mode.

think ur neutral safety switch is faulty. Pull the lever assy up/out, and inspect the switch and its wiring.

I tried, but I think I am going to have to soak the stainless allen heads for a day or so they will not budge.
4 p2 stainless holding the white cover
4 stainless allens holding the controlls in.

Is that correct.

I hope I didnt strip them:banghead:

Ok lets say they are stripped. Can I use a jumper wire to bypass the switch

I think they are black and blue and can get to them pretty easily.

Well I have tried the jumper wire and no 2 beeps.
Guess I will paint some tits on my back and walk backwards in to the
local Sae Doo dealer.

:hurray:

Thanks for the help this site is a great resource.

Regards
