You are already at the best website for all info Sea Doo related. There are several companies who make towers. Its not a popular boat to put a tower on though.

What kind of upgrades you want? I would start with Hydroturf, an audio system, 2nd battery, maybe a bimini top. Search around here and you will find all kinds of tips.

thanks man

the guy i bought it from already converted to dual batts. and i have the canapy top but he drove down the road and the wind cought it and ripped it off and broke the brackets off and ive been trying to find where i can get the plastic brackets for it. i have been reading on here and i beleive im fixen to do the oceanled.com, i really like their lights.what is a good brand of stereo for marine should i look for i would like all the components to be the same brand.

If you want the same brand head unit and speakers, you are kinda limited. There are lots of good head units and lots of good speakers and amps, but you will have a hard time finding a single company for all of it.

Head units, I would go with Alpine, Kenwood, Clarion or even Sony. Speakers, any of the top brands are good. JBL, Polk, JL Audio, Kicker to name a few.

Ocean led are nice but way overpriced. Lots of people have had great results with oznium and saved a ton of money.

You can buy the bimini brackets on ebay. I may even have a couple spares. Post a pic of what you need.

Monster Tower...and for the dual battery set-up. I'd install 1 big/car-marine battery. Cut the inside walls of each battery tray, and drop it in.

I'd make that 2 big batteries if you are installing an audio system. You said the previous owner did the conversion, so I am curious if you are talking about 2 small PWC/motorcycle size or 2 big ones. They come originally with the 2 small ones.

Yes this is the best site for all the latest Sea doo boat info you will ever find!

I am in the process as we speak to put another Optima Blue Top Batt in my boat ( Dual Batt. ) I am goin to try the dual battery switch for the two batt set-up similar to what RFoster has.. I want to add more stereo amplifiers to my system, but I want the dual battery set-up for added power first.. Right now I have One amp and One Optima Blue Marine Battery.

What is the main reason for adding a second battery?

I am guessing so you can run the stereo and cockpit lights without making your boat unable to start?

My audio system has a large amp and lots of other goodies. I can sit and play with it all with the boat off for hours and still be able to start the boat when im done.

Damn, Foster! I love looking at that Hydro-Turf shot of your boat! Looks great!

Anyway... I've been reading this thread and I was wondering if a second battery is necessary in my 2001 Sportster le. All I have is a CD player with 2 speakers. I never run the boat at night, so lights are rarely used, if ever. Is the 2nd battery something I should consider? I wouldn't want to be stranded and not be able to start my boat because I had my radio on for an hour.

You can get the bimini top replacement parts at any marine store.

I got some spare parts I offered but he never replied. I left my cheapo one up on the maiden voyage and backed it into my garage. Sooo i got some spare parts.
